Super pour avoir le personnage orange aux longues pattes! Le set en lui même est plutot composé de pièces créatives. Chomp est aussi pas mal et reste bien construit jusqu’à la chaine donc bien conçu.

I love playing with this set with my Lego Mario figure I love defeating chainchomp with a star power up and I also love making chainchomp bark it’s really cute!!

There is the yellow and orange creature (Bramball) that I didn't encounter when I was younger, but I do recognize the Chain Chomp! This famous dog-prison ball that sleeps until you get too close and who pulls its chain while barking! How many times have I jumped when that happened!? Every single time!
The funny thing is that my 3 year old son instantly liked the Chain Chomp, for him it's a dog with a leash (not a chain) in the Super Mario universe! He absolutely wanted to put its white brick teeth on it. He couldn't wait to play with it and he found the waiting time long (it took me 50 minutes to build the 160 pieces).
As for the bricks, I really liked the soft thorny vine; it was the first time I'd ever come across it. As with many Super Mario sets, what I appreciate the most is the inventiveness that allows us to play with the constructed set. The principle of the two superimposed seesaws works perfectly. We all know that Chain Chomp is a ball that should be round, but because it isn't, it reveals its barcode as soon as you manage to flip it over.
There's also something else that I really liked about Chain Chomp, which is a reflection of the video game : Super Mario loses a life as soon as the chained Chomp closes its jaw on him, this principle has also become LEGO with the red color of its tongue! I tip my hat to the design and R&D team because without adding anything, the color red is the softened equivalent of losing a life.
If I had to add a single brick, it would be on top of the Chain Chomp, it would be smooth. This is also the opinion of my son who asked me why the holes on the top.

Un Chomp monte la garde

Il y a la créature jaune et orange (Alfronce) que je n'ai pas connu plus jeune, mais je reconnais bien le Chomp enchaîné! Ce fameux boulet-chien qui dort jusqu'à ce qu'on s'approche trop prêt et qui tire sa chaîne en jappant! Combien de fois ai-je fait un saut quand cela arrivait!? À chaque fois!
Ce qui est drôle, c'est que mon fils de 3 ans a aimé instantanément le Chomp enchaîné, pour lui c'est un chien avec une laisse (pas une chaîne) dans l'univers de Super Mario! Il voulait absolument lui mettre ses dents en briques blanches. Il avait hâte de jouer avec et il trouvait le temps d'attente long (il faut dire que la construction m'a pris 50 minutes pour les 160 morceaux).
Du côté des pièces, j'ai bien aimé la liane souple avec les épines; c'était la première fois que je la croisais. Comme pour beaucoup de sets de Super Mario, ce que j'apprécie le plus c'est l'inventivité qui nous permet de jouer avec le set construit. Le principe des deux bascules superposées fonctionne parfaitement. On sait tous que le Chomp enchaîné est un boulet qui devrait être rond, mais parce qu'il ne l'est pas, il dévoile son code-barres dès qu'on réussit à le renverser.
Il y a aussi de quoi d'autres que j'ai bien apprécié avec le Chomp enchaîné et qui est un reflet du jeu vidéo : Super Mario perd une vie dès que le Chomp enchaîné ferme sa mâchoire sur lui, ce principe s'est aussi converti en LEGO avec la couleur rouge de sa langue! Je lève mon chapeau à l'équipe du design et de la recherche et du développement parce que sans ajouter quoi que ce soit, la couleur rouge est l'équivalent atténué de perdre une vie.
Si je devais ajouter une seule brique, ce serait sur le dessus du Chomp enchaîné, elle serait lisse. C'est aussi l'avis de mon fils qui m'a demandé pourquoi les trous sur le dessus.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these for my son to go along with his now ever growing and expanding Mario Lego set and both he and I love them. Lego has hit a home run with the Mario Legos in general. My son is 4 but with the way they are now doing their instructions he's able to build sets designed for 8+ with little to no assistance due to the ease they created. It makes him feel great and keeps him busy for hours. Then once its completed the way he engages with the Mario sets keeps him playing for hours since its actually interactive and they track what sets you have and new ways to add them all together.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves Legos and everything Mario so this is really the perfect thing for him. The build was easy and there is a feature that allows you to make the Chain Chomp jump out as it would in the video game. Needless to say, he’s having a great time with it. Great set!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves all things Legos and that includes the new LEGO Mario sets. He had no problems putting this set together so I’d say it is an average level of difficulty. My son had fun adding this to his other Mario LEGO Sets. I was a little concerned about not having actual paper instructions but he adjusted well with using the app. Chain Chomp is definitely a fun one to add to your Mario collection!
