Best Winter set Lego made

I was so lucky to find this retired Lego set. It was a really enjoyable build with so many fabulous details including the light up chimney. The only bit I don't like is the tile 'baby' which I think passes off better as a cookie. As for all the rest I think this is the most delightful of the winter sets to have for a christmas display.

Great final product, but what's with the roof?

First the good news: The final product is so beautiful to look at, that you cannot help but feel happy when you see it. I love the cute little figures that come as part of the build.
Now for the bad news: The roof panels are an absolute horror show, and the rigor of putting them in place negatively affected my whole attitude toward the build. Expert level or not, it is my not-so-humble opinion that this product needs revision. The process for the placement of the roof panels is downright unpleasant.

Me and my daughter love this set, we bought it at the start of 2021 and agreed we would built it each Christmas and this year was brilliant.
Love the detail of the house from the icing to the Christmas stockings that sit above the fire place.
I would have loved to have seen more mini figures as my daughter ended up bringing some lego ninjargo to the party but she hasn't stopped playing eith the set which is great to see.
The only shame we found with this set is that it was missing a single piece (4656783) which means the set isn't 100% complete even though this is the first time we have unpackaged and built this set.

E' davvero divertente costruire la casa consapevole di costruire muri di pan di zenzero! Ogni dettaglio è curato. Forse unica pecca sono certi lati del tetto che non sono fissati moltissimo, ma stiamo parlando di pan di zenzero! E' ovvio che sia fragrante

J’ai réussi à me procurer cette magnifique Maison de Pain d’épices et je l’adore !
La construction est vraiment sympa on ne se lasse pas de la construire, et les différentes couleurs de briques sont toutes extra !
Je l’ai mise sous mon sapin avec le set du train de Noël c’est magique ça fait vraiment un beau rendu, ça me donne envie de continuer à me procurer d’autres sets de Noël !
Je la recommande vivement à tout fan de Lego, ça deviendra assurément un set collector…

Missing SOOOO many pieces

I waited a long time for the Gingerbread house to come back in stock and bought it for my daughters to build as a fun Thanksgiving vacation project. They got through the first 3 bags and everything was fine. Bag #4 open and they gave up. Just spent the last 2 hours going through the rest of the instructions to figure out what pieces we were missing and it ended up being over 100. I hope they ship quickly so we can have a Christmas decoration instead of a half built mess. For a toy that was as expensive as this and out of stock for so long I am really disappointed.

This set was really fun to build for me (an adult who builds legos regularly).
The details and thought put into the design and details blew my mind with every step.
It has so much play potential and the little details make it so fun. Definitely my favorite set of the year! Would highly recommend!
