It keeps muting itself and then the button to unmute won’t work

I think this is an utterly competitive mic in terms of sound quality per price point. No need to set up, which makes it much more versatile for those that prefer a plug-and-play model as it should be. I have used the Neo for a month or so and overall has exceeded expectations in performance....however, it should be noted that one of its biggest issues is the mute "button." While it is convenient to have a touch-sensitive mute button to prevent feedback of a tactile press, I find it to be way too sensitive. Often I would find the mic muting by itself, which is an absolute frustration as I wouldn't even notice until someone tells me. I've had multiple instances where I've needed to mute quickly, only for the button to not even work completely, further making my experience much more of an annoyance than it should be. I really wanted to enjoy this product, but the mute button in itself is ridiculously annoying and needs to be re-engineered or software updated to prevent accidental muting.

El Wave Neo es super cómodo, ya que lo enchufas y te puedes poner a grabar al instante. Puedes enchufarlo al móvil o al ordenador. Su configuración es rápida y no hace falta un software especial. A pesar de su tamaño compacto, tiene un sonido nítido y pro, ideal tanto para creadores de contenido como para quienes hacen llamadas o grabaciones desde casa. Y el botón táctil para poner y quitar el mute es genial.

This is a serious design flaw, and it needs to be addressed. We strongly recommend updating the software to include a “double-tap to mute” feature or at least providing the option in the software settings for users to enable this. This should be a straightforward software adjustment and will significantly improve usability. The mute button on the Elgato Wave Neo is far too sensitive. It detects even the slightest heat proximity, causing the microphone to mute unexpectedly while in use. Despite talking 5 cm away from the microphone, accidental muting occurs frequently—whether from a chin coming too close or simply being in the proximity of body heat. There is no clear notification other than a small red light, which is easy to miss when focusing on other tasks. his issue is frustrating and makes the product less reliable. We expect this feature to be revised and improved in future updates.

Wow, wave Neo is great out the box, sounds amazing, straight plug and play, definitely would recommend this budget friendly microphone. Now if you want to try extra features then you must download Elgato Wave Link software super fire but straight out the box the audio is great.

El micrófono es una maravilla. Lo compre en tienda directamente y aparte de poder usarlo por USB sabía que podría usar su software Wave Link. Pero una de las funciones que más podría destacar es la que adjunto en la captura de pantalla, se llama "Clipguard" y nos permite que el micrófono suene siempre igual, sin saturar hablemos más o menos alto. Esto lo equipara a otros micros de alta gama y hace que la experiencia sea fluida. Pero cual es mi sorpresa cuando veo que esta función no se activa con este modelo. Por lo que se ve los señores de El Gato lo dejan para sus otros micros, algo que no entiendo. Es una simple función. Espero poder usar un limitador por VST que emule esta función, pero no le pongo un 5 por este detalle. Un producto genial al que le capan una funcionalidad que no les cuesta nada dejar activa y que mejora la experiencia de usuario no tiene mucho sentido. Creo que está bien este detalle. Saludos

Wave Neo is adorable. This mic out of box sounds amazing. Dont let the size fool you. Its a smaller mic but it makes a BIG statement. Its truly plug n play as I took it out of the box and plugged it right in didnt touch a setting and it sounded amazing.
